Read the Breach Analytics dashboard
Understand the account-wide charts and summaries of your recorded breach searches.
Open your breach-search summary
Select Breach analytics in the dashboard drawer or navigation rail. This dedicated dashboard is available with Agency access. It summarizes recorded breach searches for your account over the last 90 days, across cases. Opening it does not start a new breach search.
Use a relevant investigation or Skill to perform new research. Breach Analytics helps you review the resulting search activity; it does not contain an identifier-entry form, case selector, or adjustable reporting-period filter.
- Open Breach analytics and wait for the summary cards and charts to load.
- Review Total Searches, Breaches Found, Avg per Search, and Unique Databases.
- Read the chart legends and hover over plotted values for details.
- Select Back to Dashboard to return to the investigation workspace and examine the underlying case results.
Understand the four charts
| Chart | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Search Activity Timeline | Daily counts of recorded searches and their reported breach findings. |
| Top Affected Databases | The most frequently appearing source names, with up to eight shown. |
| Search Type Distribution | The proportion of recorded searches in each search category. |
| Weekly Breach Trends | Average findings per recorded search within each displayed week. |
If the findings line rises on a day with more searches, compare both series before concluding that exposure increased. A change in the volume or type of searches can change the dashboard totals.
Read totals in context
Breaches Found adds the reported finding counts from recorded searches. It is not a count of unique people or distinct incidents across your entire investigation. Repeated searches can contribute repeated observations.
Unique Databases reflects the ranked source summary, which is limited to ten entries. Treat it as a dashboard summary rather than a complete inventory of every source. Review original results and supporting evidence before using these numbers in a report.
