Validate bank and payment identifiers

Check IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, BBAN and LEI structure, then save selected results to a case.

Choose an identifier type

Open Bank & payment intel from the dashboard drawer or navigation rail. Pro and Agency plans can use this tool. It provides direct validation forms rather than a chat conversation. Review Available credits and Cost per validation before submitting.

  1. Open the case you want to retain findings in, then enter the dedicated bank tool.
  2. Choose the matching tab and enter the identifier. Use Example fills the form; Clear resets its inputs.
  3. Correct any field validation message, then submit once and wait for Validation Results.
  4. Read the Valid or Invalid badge, extracted fields, and any Validation Errors. Available details differ by identifier type.
TabInput and action
IBANEnter the IBAN and select Validate to check format and checksum.
BIC/SWIFTEnter an 8- or 11-character BIC / SWIFT Code and select Validate.
BBANChoose Country, enter BBAN, and select Validate & Compose to produce an IBAN when valid.
LEIEnter a 20-character alphanumeric Legal Entity Identifier and select Validate.

Understand what validation establishes

The tool checks structure and check digits and may show country, SEPA, QR-IBAN, Test BIC, or country-specification information. A valid structure does not establish account ownership, available funds, or that a payment will succeed. LEI format validation is not a live confirmation of an entity's current registration status.

The Offline Validation badge describes the kind of checks being performed. Use the signed-in Nexus service to submit them; do not assume the page works without a network connection.

Keep the results you need

The dedicated screen does not offer a browsable validation-history table. Save relevant findings before leaving, or use the Bulk workflow's export controls for a batch.

  1. Review the selected result cards. Results initially select all; use the checkboxes or Select All to adjust the set.
  2. Select Save to Case to store selected findings in the active case. This action is disabled without an open case or selected results.
  3. If your plan includes graphs, Add to Graph opens graph selection or creation. Otherwise, follow the displayed plan-access guidance.
