Account, sign-in and deletion
Find your account controls, sign out, and understand the permanent deletion process.
Find the available account controls
The dashboard account card shows the signed-in email, plan badge, and OSINT credits. Refresh credits updates the displayed balance, and Add credits opens Manage Subscription. The drawer footer provides Subscription, Support, and Sign out.
The Settings icon on the narrow navigation rail opens the subscription page. It is not a separate profile editor. The current account screens do not provide controls for editing your email, changing a password, managing multi-factor authentication, or setting notification preferences. For an account-detail change that you cannot make in the sign-in service, contact support.
Sign in and sign out
If Nexus says Session Expired, sign in again. If it says authentication is already in progress, allow the current attempt to finish, then retry after a few seconds. Repeatedly starting sign-in is unlikely to resolve an in-progress attempt.
- On the Sign in page, select Access Nexus. Wait while the button shows Initializing… or Connecting….
- Complete the identity and authentication prompts on the redirected sign-in page. Use the recovery options presented there if you cannot complete authentication.
- Check the email on your dashboard account card before opening sensitive case material.
- Use Sign out at the bottom of the dashboard drawer when you are finished, especially on a shared computer.
Prepare before deleting an account
Account deletion is permanent. The warning lists case files and investigation threads, chat messages and uploaded documents, findings, tasks, notes, entity graphs, tool history, custody logs, credit purchase history, and your user profile. Export anything you need to retain before starting.
If you have a paid subscription, cancel it in the Stripe portal first. Account deletion does not automatically cancel that subscription. Treat any exported report as a separate file that you must store and share appropriately.
Use the deletion confirmation flow
- Select Add credits on the dashboard account card to open Manage Subscription.
- Scroll to Danger Zone and select Delete beside Delete Account.
- Read Delete your account? and the list of affected data. Select Cancel to leave, or Yes, I want to delete my account to continue.
- In Final confirmation, type DELETE exactly. Recheck the active-subscription warning if it appears.
- Select Permanently Delete Account only when you are ready. On success, Nexus displays Account deleted and leaves the signed-in session.
